This website provides information on a wide range of topics
relating to disability such as special education legislations,
due process, Illinois continuous improvement plan, categories
for special education, bilingual special education resources,
transition services, assistive technology, and so forth.
Visitors can also find information on conferences, workshops,
and training events throughout the state and a directory
of special education directors.

Department of Human
Services Early Intervention
The Illinois DHS Early Intervention division provides supports
and resources to families who have infants and toddlers
with a diagnosed disability to assist them in maximizing
their child's development. The Early Intervention website
has materials on early intervention programs, disability
laws and rules, policy and regulations, and other resources
for parents, providers, and partner agencies.
Parent Center
Family Resource Center on
Disabilities (FRCD)
The Family Resource Center on Disabilities is a coalition
of parents, professionals, and volunteers who sought to
improve services for all children with disabilities by providing
information, family support, training, and education. Visitors
can find more information on projects such as Youth Advocacy
and Parent to Parent Training on the center's website.
