Minnesota Department of Special Education
The Minnesota Department of Education Web site offers a wealth of information. Visitors can find resources related to Birth to Age 21 programs and services, the continuous improvement monitoring process, disability areas, evaluation and program planning supports, grant opportunities, funding, special education policy, and training and licensure.
 
Part C (Ages Birth-2)
Minnesota Department of Education’s Early Intervention
The Minnesota Department of Education’s Early Intervention Web site provides parents and providers of young children with disabilities a variety of information related to early intervention resources in Minnesota. Visitors can view the electronic newsletter “Your Link” which features current local, state, and national information surrounding various early intervention issues. Visitors can also access a directory of early childhood services in Minnesota for children with disabilities.
 
Parent Center
Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights (PACER) Center
The Minnesota Parent Center, a program of the Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights (PACER) Center, provides resources to help build strong ties between families and educators. Visitors can find a listing of workshops available through the PACER Center, links to PACER Center’s online resources, and a variety of publications and brochures. Publication and brochure topics include family involvement, advocacy, school reform, multicultural issues, communication with school, conferences, truancy, and graduation standards. Some of the available resources are also translated into Spanish, Hmong, and Somali.
