Department of Human
Services Early Intervention
The Missouri First Steps Web site has information
targeted to parents, providers, and System Point of
Entry regions. Specific resources for parents include a
parent handbook, guidance letters, and a general
information brochure. Providers and System Point of
Entry regions will find information related to training,
recruitment, compliance, enrollment, screening, billing,
and funding. The site also provides links to data,
reports, publications, eligibility and referral forms,
and contact information for First Steps Consultants.
Parent Center
Missouri Parents ACT
The Missouri Parents ACT (MPACT) Web site provides
information for parents about the educational rights of children with disabilities
and services available to them.
Visitors can find information regarding the Transition
to Empowered Lifestyles project, health and education,
volunteer opportunities, and MPACT trainings. There is
also a bulletin board where parents can share knowledge
and support.
